Wellness yoga teaches students and clients that the body, mind and spirit work in unison. When one aspect isn’t functioning properly your life will not be balanced and this could cause distress in the body which could lead to disease. Yoga a sister science of Ayurveda is that key to open the door to create harmony by aligning the body, mind, and spirit into one unit. This will allow you to surrender to what life has to offer you. Yoga can easily be integrated into your life. You just need to be taught! This is how – For every client and student looking for freedom from the mind and to feel connected with the body through yoga asana (flow, restorative, and form), breath work, meditation, and contemplation, Wellness Yoga holds the space for you to then take yoga “off the mat” and utilize it into your everyday life.
What makes Wellness yoga unique is that you are taught by yoga teachers who are integrative medical practitioners who know the anatomy and physiology of the body. This ensures your safety while in a pose and to advance your yoga practice through proper assists and modifications!
